Marital Property
When couples divorce, they must also determine how to best divide their marital assets. Maryland is an equitable distribution state, which means that the parties or a trial judge must decide how to equitably divide the parties’ real property, marital home, retirement assets, bank accounts, vehicles and other assets. While judges are limited by Maryland law on what they can and cannot do in terms of property division, Wendy has a history of coming up with “outside-of-the-box” solutions that work best for her clients and their families.
